Founding Editor - Dr Joe Shapter


Founding Editor - Dr Joe ShapterJ. Shapter is an Assoc. Professor of Chemistry at Flinders University in South Australia.

He is a fellow of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI) and is cur-rently President of the South Australian Branch of the institute.

Dr. Shapter led the work in setting up the Nanotechnology degree at Flin-ders. The focus of his work is scanning probe microscopy. His group concentrates on construction of new sensors, imaging of single molecules, construction of new architectures using nanotubes and examination of “natural” solids such as pearl or bone at the microscopic level.
