Founding Editor - Professor Simon Biggs

Founding Editor - Professor Simon BiggsDirector of the BNFL-Leeds Alliance in Particle Science & Technology. Insti-tute of Particle Science & Engineering, University of Leeds, UK.

He is internationally known for his work on surface and particle force interaction and all aspects of the characterisation of surfaces.

The main research interests of Prof. Biggs’ group are in the field of colloid and interface science, in combining in-situ imaging (scanning probe microscopy) with direct measurements of both adsorbed amounts and adsorption kinetics (ellipsometric techniques).
