Adaptive Therapeutics Inc. (ATI) was founded in May 2002 with the closing of its Series A round of venture capital financing and began operations at its principal headquarters in San Diego, CA in July 2002.
ATI's founding technology was developed in Professor M. Reza Ghadiri's laboratory and the company negotiated and secured exclusive worldwide licenses from The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI) to intellectual property rights covering anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral, and anti-cancer therapeutic applications of Adaptide™ peptides.
