Company Background
Founded in 2004, Ocean NanoTech provides synthesis, production as well as
R&D of dispersible quantum dots and magnetic nanoparticles. Our mission
is to facilitate and advance the research and development of nanomaterial based
applications through our nanotechnology platform. Since its inception, Ocean
NanoTech has been awarded four Phase I and one Phase II SBIR awards from the
ARMY, NIH and NSF respectively. Our core competences are:
- Preparation of quantum dots and magnetic nanoparticles
- Conversion of hydrophobic nanoparticles to water soluble and biocompatible
- Bioconjugation of quantum dots and magnetic nanoparticles
- Device fabrication of quantum dots
