Consider your problems solved. With the Nanosurf Nanite, you can nano-measure hundreds of samples in
one day, without having to be present during measurements, and without having to
attend specialist nano-training. The Nanite's efficiency will make nano-surface
analysis the industry standard.
Nanosurf Nanite
The Nanosurf Nanite’s initial draw is its increased efficiency. It
allows batch programmable multiple measurements without SPM knowledge,
significantly reducing labour cost and training time and delegating routine
measurements to technicians. This alone will delight the head of your production
department, but perhaps the even greater benefit is the improved morale of your
workforce. Liberated of time-consuming repetitive tasks, they can employ their
unique skills to maintain your advantage over your competition.

Multiple
Measurements
Got work? Nanosurf AG, innovators and makers of the most compact and
easy-to-use SPM on the market, have applied their inventive designs to the
challenge of multiple measurements. The results speak for themselves: the Nanosurf Nanite, poised to take a load off your shoulders. Its
scripting capability and motorised X/Y/Z stage make it possible for users to
prepare a series of routine measurements and leave the microscope to measure on
its own, focusing their skills on more challenging tasks.
Reliable Quality
Control
Whether your process quality control
requires measurements at random points of a large surface or on multiple samples
in a reproducible location, the Nanite can do it. Fast and reproducible
cantilever exchange and the precise re-positioning of the scan head ensure that
your batch program performs the same measurement it did six months ago. Rely on
your Nanite for impeccable quality.
Statistical
Analysis
For multiple measurements to be useful, they
need to be carefully analysed and compared. This can take more time than the
measurements – but not with the Nanosurf Report analysis software. Nanosurf Report is designed to perform quantitative analysis
on all your measurements following a template you design once. Traffic light
display of pass-fail criteria on selected parameters speeds up evaluation: you
will be comparing roughness, particle count, or step heights in no time at
all.
Flexible Design
When tailoring the Nanite to heavy-duty
measurement, our developers realised that individual applications would require
a flexible, adaptable design. Therefore, the Nanite scan head can be mounted
onto a larger stage such as the granite stage in Figure 1, or on another
measuring instrument. Component flexibility is an integral part of the Nanite
design, not an afterthought – we are eager to hear your suggestions!

High Tech For
The Shop Floor
The demands of modern industry to meet ever
tighter tolerances and the requirements of international quality standards mean
that precision counts in every production step. The Nanite scan head can be
mounted on any large surface modifying machine to monitor the results of its
operation, be it multi-axial milling, turning, cutting, grinding, or polishing,
regardless of sample size. Nanosurf customers include companies in the watchmaking,
imprinting, mechanical device manufacturing, and material processing industries.
Let the best available surface measurement technologies revolutionise your
production, too!
Clean Room
Advantage
The unparalleled small footprint of the
Nanite makes it the ideal automated AFM for clean room use. Check your coatings
for intended structures or irregularities, or use the additional measuring modes
to detect features not visible in topography alone. Its ease of use and
reproducibility make the Nanite the ideal tool for engineering R&D,
biomaterials research, or semiconductor fabrication, just to name a
few.
Technical
Specifications
The Nanosurf Nanite is composed of a mountable AFM and an
automated X/Y/Z stage. Both the
controller for the AFM and the controller for the X/Y/Z stage are the same size
and can either be stacked on top of each other or conveniently fitted next to
each other into a 19"-rack.
