Multiple Measurements

Reliable Quality Control

Whether your process quality control requires measurements at random points of a large surface or on multiple samples in a reproducible location, the Nanite can do it. Fast and reproducible cantilever exchange and the precise re-positioning of the scan head ensure that your batch program performs the same measurement it did six months ago. Statistical Analysis

For multiple measurements to be useful, they need to be carefully analysed and compared. This can take more time than the measurements – but not with the Nanosurf Report analysis software. Nanosurf Report is designed to perform quantitative analysis on all your measurements following a template you design once. Traffic light display of pass-fail criteria on selected parameters speeds up evaluation: you will be comparing roughness, particle count, or step heights in no time at all.

Flexible Design

When tailoring the Nanite to heavy-duty measurement, our developers realised that individual applications would require a flexible, adaptable design. Therefore, the Nanite scan head can be mounted onto a larger stage such as the granite stage in Figure 1, or on another measuring instrument. Technical Specifications

The Nanosurf Nanite is composed of a mountable AFM and an automated X/Y/Z stage.  Both the controller for the AFM and the controller for the X/Y/Z stage are the same size and can either be stacked on top of each other or conveniently fitted next to each other into a 19"-rack.
