Operating in the visible near infrared spectral range (VNIR), CytoViva HSI supports research in areas such as nano-drug delivery and nano-toxicology. This spectral analysis method supports both non-fluorescent and fluorescently labeled components in live cells and nano-materials.

In each application, the CytoViva Nano-scale Microscope and Hyperspectral Imaging Systems work together as a seamless solution to provide analytical confirmation of nano-scale materials and their interactions with biologicals or other composite materials.

Confirming the Presence of Nanoscale Elements

The CytoViva Hyperspectral Imaging System (HSI) confirms the presence of nanoscale elements by

  • Collecting all VNIR spectral data within each pixelof the scanned area.
  • Storing unique spectral signatures of selected elements in a library database.
  • Matching spectral signatures in the library database against newly scanned samples.

This confirmation process can be conducted with up to 99.9% accuracy.
