Background
From our UK Headquarters, Prior
Scientific designs and manufactures a wide range of scientific instrumentation,
specialising in microscope automation and optical microscopy. This has been
the core of our business since 1919. Prior
Scientific's experience is unrivalled and our commitment to engineering
excellence is reflected in the performance and quality of our broad product
portfolio. Although Prior
Scientific offers a range of standard products, Prior
Scientific also offers OEM
and customised solutions tailored to your individual requirements. Many of the
world’s leading scientific instrumentation companies already benefit from
Prior
Scientific's expertise.
Prior
Scientific's range of products include:
NanoScanZ 250 and 500 from Prior Scientific
The NanoScanZ
250 and NanoScanZ
500 from Prior
Scientific offers researchers unprecedented levels of performance and convenience
when fast and precise control of the Z Axis is required.

Applications of NanoScanZ 250 and 500
NanoScanZ
250 and NanoScanZ
500 are ideally suited to Z-Stacking applications, particularly those involving
live cells, the NanoScanZ
250 and NanoScanZ
500 bring a new dimension to deconvolution, 3D reconstruction and confocal
microscopy.
Unlike traditional piezo focusing devices that move a single objective lens,
the NanoScanZ
250 and NanoScanZ
500 can be used with all nosepiece positions. This ensures no loss of parfocality.
It is also possible to continue using DIC as a contrasting technique when using
NanoScanZ
250 and NanoScanZ
500.
