Research On Surface Activation Of Nanoparticles - News Item

The European Commission has reported a three-year CHEMAG project that includes research on the polymerisation of molecules for surface activation of nanoparticles, arrays and membranes.

The project's nanoparticles will have uses in combinatorial synthesis, bioprocessing and separation. The largest potential market is the possible take-up of the nucleotide labelling chemistry as a standard method in the whole area of molecular biology and molecular diagnostics.
