Navitar played a key role in this process.

The combination of Navitar’s ZFL fluorescence inspection system and low magnification lenses enabled Precision Therapeutics to capture the entire well in a single image with a resolution good enough for an accurate analysis.

Navitar developed a high sensitivity lens for a second generation of optics that significantly reduced imaging time and increased throughput by 25%. Moreover, the company created a transmitted light source which enabled Precision Therapeutics’ existing system design to deliver bright field imaging of live cells with a Kohler illumination module.
