Application Technique

Powder particles can be coated by dispersing the particles in the BC-10 solution using mechanical mixing or ultrasonic agitation.

For coating bulk electrodes, NANOMYTE BC-10 can be applied onto the electrode surface by brush, spray, immersion techniques. The treated surface initially needs to be dried for 4 hours at 150°C. The final heat treatment involves heating for 5 hours at 350 – 500°C to form a ceramic coating. No specific surface preparation is required for powder coating. However, the surface needs to be clean of dirt, dust, grease, oil and other foreign materials and in sound condition prior to applying the coating for bulk electrodes. NANOMYTE BC-10 is supplied in 1L or 1, 5 or 55 gallon quantities.
