Nanophase to Present at Nanotech 2004 - News Item

Nanophase Technologies Corporation, a technology leader in nanomaterials and nanoengineered products, has been invited to present on three nanomaterial topics at Nanotech 2004 in Boston from March 7-11.

Nanotech 2004, organized by the Nano Science and Technology Institute, is an international conference for business, academia, and research, and covers emerging nanotechnology markets, including nanomaterials, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and semiconductors. Nanotech 2004 is the largest nanotechnology conference in the world providing collaborative direction to the growing community of nano science, technology and business.

Nanophase presentation topics for the conference include:

  • Nanocrystalline Mixed Metal Oxides - Novel Oxygen Storage Materials presented by Dr. Patrick Murray.
  • Nanoparticle Composites for Coating Applications presented by Dr. Roger Cayton.
  • Nanoparticle Dispersions for Polishing Applications presented by Dr. Patrick Murray.

Nanophase will also participate in the Nanotech 2004 exhibition to demonstrate the Company's integrated nanomaterials technologies to chemical and industrial companies attending the event. Joseph Cross, Nanophase's president and CEO, and Dr. Ed Ludwig, Nanophase's vice president of business development, will attend the conference.

"We are looking forward to Nanotech 2004 and are fortunate to have been invited to contribute three presentations," stated Dr. Ludwig. "Nanophase has recently introduced several new nanomaterial products and has more in the development pipeline. We are looking for additional application development partners to horizontally market nanomaterial applications. Nanotech 2004 is an excellent platform to demonstrate Nanophase's integrated nanomaterials technologies in multiple application areas to potential domestic and international customers."
