Mitsui To Reorganise Nanotechnology Groups - News Item

Mitsui & Co. Ltd. is to reorganise its nanotechnology businesses and create a single nanotechnology unit from it’s three research and development groups.

Their work will concentrate on nanoporous membranes and carbon nanotubes. The membranes will be used to produce alcohol based vehicle fuels and the nanotubes will be used in high strength but lightweight composites for vehicles. They expect to have commercial available products within two years.
