Eikos and FLEXcon to Increase Production of Conductive Films With Invisicon Technology

Eikos, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of carbon nanotube (CNT) inks for highly transparent conductive coatings and circuits, today announced a collaboration with FLEXcon, the global leader in customer-driven, pressure-sensitive film solutions.

FLEXcon will assist Eikos in establishing a pilot coating line at Eikos' facility in Franklin Massachusetts, which will be used for applications development as well as training customers and partners in coating methods. FLEXcon will also leverage its applications development experience to develop new market opportunities for Eikos' Invisicon technology as well as provide coating services.

According to Eikos CEO, Joe Piche, "FLEXcon is an ideal partner for us at this stage in our development of Invisicon, providing a level of coating competence and high-volume capacity that we will need as we scale up ink production. This collaboration has already helped advance our development activity and should continue to be crucial to our growth."

"Our company recognizes the value of Invisicon and has aggressively established this alliance with Eikos," explains Neil McDonough, president and CEO of FLEXcon. "Our specialty polymeric coating capability, in combination with this fresh technology, promises outstanding commercial opportunities for both organizations."
