SUNY Board Approves Nanotech College For Albany - News Item

The creation of the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering at the University at Albany has been approved by the SUNY Board of Trustees.

During his State of the State address, Governor Pataki outlined plans for the college that will be the first of its type in the USA. As part of University at Albany, the college is to be headed by the current executive director of Albany Nanotech and dean of the School of Nanosciences and Nanoengineering, Alain Kaloyeros.
