DECTRIS EIGER X Detector Series

The new EIGER X detector series available from DECTRIS offers unparalleled performance for the most challenging synchrotron applications. Continuous readout together with frame rates in the kilohertz range opens up new possibilities in X-ray photon correlation spectroscopy and time-resolved experiments.

Up until now, beam imaging method such as ptychography has become routinely possible. The excellent point-spread function and small pixel size are perfect for high-resolution and coherent diffraction experiments. Additionally, highest count rates per unit area perfectly match the growing beamline brightness.
