When compared to standard ICP-OES instruments, the SPECTRO ARCOS is completely different. The special optical system is housed on the left side of the instrument that delivers high accuracy, resolution and stability. Moreover, the instrument can be fitted with an interface to enable radial or axial plasma observation. The CCD optic system is equipped with a Paschen-Runge mount assembly and provides a high resolution of 8.5 picometer from 130 to 340 nm wavelength range.
The SPECTRO ARCOS also includes a rugged free-running generator integrated with a ceramic tube and solid-state power supply, the economical and low-maintenance UV-Plus system for elevated VUV transparency down to 130 nm, and the fast readout system with a transient measuring frequency of about 10 Hz and a dynamic range of eight decades. SPECTRO’s proprietary ICAL system logic supervises the operation of the SPECTRO ARCOS and helps ensure continuous operating conditions.
Clear structure, high flexibility and simple operation are the hallmarks of the “Smart Analyzer Vision” graphical user interface. Whether developing measurement techniques or quantitatively reprocessing stored spectra, the simple and accessible functions of the instrument make it convenient for operators.
