Scatter X78 is a powerful tool that helps reveal and evaluate structures and dimensions in all kinds of nanomaterials. With PANalytical, the nanoscientist can develop new, engineered nanomaterials with tailored structures and properties.
The key features of the ScatterX are:
The instrument is a PreFIX attachment to the Empyrean, a compact and ergonomic module that helps acquire high-quality small- and wide-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS/WAXS) data in an angular range from 0.08 to 78°.
It includes a vacuum chamber that houses a sample capsule, beam collimation elements and a beamstop.
The module does not require any alignment by the user and is thus especially easy to use.
SAXS/WAXS data can be determined even on weakly scattering, dilute samples and help derive dimensional and structural information on a wide variety of nanomaterials.
