VacuTRAN - Vacuum-Enabled Membrane Permeation Measurement Instrument from VG Scienta

VG Scienta’s VacuTRAN is an innovative, vacuum-enabled membrane permeation measurement instrument exclusively designed for the plastic electronics industry. This ultra-sensitive instrument allows water vapour transmission rate (WVTR) measurement of O2 permeation to 10-3cm3/m2/day and also allows WVTR measurement of barrier layers to 10-6 g/m2/day.

In contrast to other instruments employed in present industrial set up, VacuTRAN increases the detection rate by a factor of 50-100 and provides quick turnaround results. This advanced instrument delivers time-saving performance and allows WVTR measurement, which surpasses the specification standards.
