Aggregation of 60nm Gold Colloids Imaged Using the Nanosight LM20 - 2

This video shows the aggregation of 60nm gold colloid as seen through the NanoSight LM20. ‘Aggregation 1’ shows the particles prior to aggregation and ‘Aggregation 2’ shows the particles after a DNA mediated aggregation reaction which has caused the particles to dimerise. Particle aggregation can be viewed at very low concentrations and the technique allows direct visualisation and characterisation of aggregation and other time related phenomena.
