Brewster Angle Microscopy of Floating DMPE Monolayer
This video shows a monolayer of DMPE during first-order phase transition. The contrast in domains is caused by long range orientation order. The sample is floating on a water surface and these pictures have been taken by a Brewster angle microscope (nanofilm_ultrabam) by Accurion.
