The NanoTest Vantage Nanomechanical Testing System from Micro Materials
The NanoTest Vantage is Micro Materials latest nanomechanical testing system. It can perform a number of tests such as:
- Nanoindentation
- Dynamic hardness testing
- Repetitive impact for fracture of fatigue testing
- Nanoscratch/wear/fretting
Apart form being able to carry out all these tests in a single instrument, the unique capability of the NanoTest Vantage is its ability to perform the tests at temperatures from less than 0°C up to 750°C. This enables more accurate simulation of real life operating conditions, which has obvious benefits for engineers and designers.
Other new features of the NanoTest Vantage over the previous incarnation include:

- A new stage positioning system for improved accuracy
