The NanoDrop Lite from Thermo Scientific
Thermo Scientific have launched the NanoDrop Lite, the smaller version of the NanoDrop 2000 system. The system uses a UV-Vis spectrophotomer is used for the quantification of nucleic acids, DNA/RNA samples, proteins etc.
It uses microliter volume samples and produces measurements within seconds. It is suited to upstream screening analysis where it can rapidly determine if samples are suited to further more detailed analysis.
It can also be supplied with a docking station that can be used to print labels.
