Macrophage Cell Manipulation by Optical Tweezers from JPK Instruments

This video shows the manipulation of macrophage cell by optical tweezers from JPK Instruments. A bead is trapped and moved in all directions inside a living macrophage. The focus is slowly altered in z-direction to check whether the bead is really inside the cell. By observing carefully it can be clearly seen, that the cell structure moves together with the cell.
