NanoDynamics Inc. announced today
it has established an agreement with Greenberg Traurig, LLP to
investigate intellectual property (IP) partnerships in the
nanotechnology sector. The agreement expands NanoDynamics'
existing relationship with the firm, and will focus on identifying
commercialization opportunities for its TechBank IP technologies.
"We are enthusiastic to be working with Greenberg Traurig in
identifying strategies and corporate relationships that will maximize
the value of our TechBank technologies - from joint development, to
licensing, to the outright sale of an IP asset," said Doug DuFaux,
director of technology management at NanoDynamics. "As the
various technologies we have selected for TechBank are capable of
providing viable and valuable solutions across many industries, we are
offering them to developers in markets and applications outside our
company's core focus," DuFaux said.
"Greenberg Traurig has a solid understanding of the IP asset
and patent landscape, and has established many relationships in the
nanotechnology sector," said Chinh Pham, nanotechnology practice chair
with Greenberg Traurig. "We look forward to working with
NanoDynamics and its prospective partners to accelerate the path toward
commercialization of these technology assets."
