Hamamatsu Photonics, the world leading manufacturer of opto-electronic devices
and measurement instruments, has placed an order for an Obducat
NIL system with Canon Marketing Japan.
Hamamatsu Photonics provide academic and industrial customers worldwide with
opto-technology based products like Opto-semiconductors, Photosensitive Electron
Tube, Light Sources, Imaging Cameras.
The NIL system will be used in product development and pilot production of
new optical devices. Hamamatsu based their selection on imprint quality, the
industrial track record of Obducat and the strong local support Canon Marketing
Japan offers.
The patented IPS® and STU® process technologies where used during all
evaluations.
Hamamatsu Corporation has requested that further information regarding the
contract remains undisclosed.
