(NanoScale®), a leader in advanced chemistry products, services, and
technologies, today announced the Board of Directors of NanoScale Corporation
has elected Aaron Madison to the new position of Executive Vice President and
Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. In this new role, Aaron will
be responsible for the operations and financial management of the Company.
Mr. Madison joined NanoScale in September 2000 and has been an integral part
of NanoScale's growth and success. He has demonstrated expertise in financial
planning and analysis, budget and resource management, and operations. Throughout
his career at NanoScale, he has been responsible for managing much of our government
relations activities and instrumental in securing various government contracts
and funding. Most recently, Aaron was Vice President Finance and Administration
with responsibilities for Finance, Quality, Facilities, Safety, Human Resources,
and Customer Support.
Prior to joining NanoScale, Mr. Madison held the position of Manager of Federal
Excise Taxes with Koch Industries, Wichita, Kan. where he was responsible for
the compilation and submittal of the company's $1.5 billion dollars annual remittance.
Originally of Ulysses, Kan., Mr. Madison received his B.A. and M.S. degrees
from Kansas State University and has been a Certified Public Accountant since
1997. He and his wife, Jacque, reside in Manhattan, Kan. with their son Braden.
