mPhase to Demonstrate Latest Prototype of Smart NanoBattery in Q1, 2012

Published on January 5, 2012 at 3:22 AM

By Cameron Chai

mPhase Technologies has declared that it has made the required modifications to its prototype of a novel marine and automotive product, a Smart Nanobattery symbolizing sophisticated battery technology with a popular European Automotive Manufacturer.

The first prototype of the nanobattery was completed in the year 2011 and mPhase has been continually working on the prototype, which has ensured a product with reduced size and better functionality. Since the new product has an exclusive design, it has a wide demand both in the aftermarket and OEM marine and automotive sector.

According to mPhase, the nanobattery will be demonstrated in 2012 first quarter. An innovative smart surface technology is being revealed by mPhase Technologies based on nanotechnology breakthroughs, microfluidics and MEMS processing. The company’s smart surface technology finds applications in drug delivery systems, self-cleaning systems, lab-on-a-chip analytic systems, filtration, chemical and liquid systems.

The key benefits of this technology include a long shelf life, rapid ramp up to full power, high energy density and power, convenient to miniaturize, usable in semiconductor processing, economical bulk production and a broad variety of chemistries.
