ClassOne Equipment Contributes Process Equipment for New Nanotechnology Building at Georgia Tech

ClassOne Equipment has agreed to contribute process equipment for the Marcus Nanotechnology Building that has been recently opened in Georgia Institute of Technology. The building has been named after Mr. Bernie Marcus, the Chairman of Marcus Foundation, and who is also the main sponsor for this building.

The Marcus Nanotechnology Building, which is the headquarters of Institute of Electronics and Nanotechnology (IEN) in Georgia Tech, will be utilized for conducting research and development in the fields of engineering, science and technology.

The IEN is an interdisciplinary research center. Most of the faculty members belonging to IEN are eminent scholars and renowned experts who are also members of the National Academy of Engineering. The IEN Nano, Micro, and Bio Cleanroom Laboratories contribute more than 400 million US Dollars to sponsor the research programs that range from basic innovation to system prototypes.

The Executive Director at the IEN, Mark Allen, said that they appreciated ClassOne Equipment for their contribution of equipments that are at presently used in the Marcus Organic and Inorganic Cleanroom Laboratories at IEN.
