H2W Technologies Introduces High Acceleration Voice Coil Driven Closed Loop Positioning System

H2W Technologies introduces a high acceleration, voice coil driven, XYpositioning stage with a precision bearing system,which minimizes the amount of pitch, yaw, and roll in the system.

The voice coilstage (VCS08-700-08-350-CR-01-MC-XY)is a closed loop positioning system that can be used for high force positioning applications. The stage is driven by threeNCC moving coil type linear actuators and is guided by dual crossed roller bearings on the X-Axis (bottom axis) and a precision linear rail on the Y-Axis (top axis). Each voice coil has a 0.80" [20.3 mm] stroke; generate35lbs [159 N] of continuous force and 105lbs [477 N] of peak force, or a combined 70lbs [318 N] continuous force and 210lbs [953 N] of peak force on the X-Axis (bottom axis). It includes a 1 micron resolution linear encoder on each axis. Voice coil positioning stages are ideal for applications that require quick, short moves with fast settling times.
