H2W introduces an integrated SR series linear positioning stage with an integrated closed loop servo theta stage for two axis linear/rotary motion control applications.
The Z axis linear motion is achieved by using a brushless linear motor positioning stage (P/N SRT-024-04-360-040-01) operating under closed loop position control. The SR series stage is a compact, small footprint, open type positioning stage. The theta axis motion is achieved using a closed loop three-phase brushless servo motor with a high precision rotary encoder.
The Z-theta gantry allows for coordinated linear and rotary motion applications such as a mixing emulsifier that requires high acceleration in both axis.

The linear stage is driven by a three-phase brushless linear motor and is guided by a pair of precision recirculating linear ball bearings. The stage has a 24" [610 mm] stroke, generates 100 lbs [444 N] of continuous force, and 300 lbs [1335 N] of peak force. It includes a 1 micron resolution linear encoder. SR series positioning stages are ideal for long stroke applications that require high speed, high acceleration moves with fast settling times.
