This April, Thomas Swan will introduce two new high quality graphene products to the market at Printed Electronics Europe 2014 in Berlin, Germany:
Elicarb® Graphene powder: A graphene nanoplatelet powder.
Elicarb® Dispersion (AQ): Water/surfactant dispersed graphene nanoplatelets at a concentration of 1g/litre.
Elicarb® Graphene products are manufactured via a proprietary graphite exfoliation route which was developed in collaboration with CRANN (Centre for Research on Adaptive Nanostructures and Nanodevices) at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. The products are high conductivity graphene nanoplatelets, with average X-Y dimensions of 1000nm and are free from oxidation and catalyst residues.

“We are excited by the potential of the graphene market” says Andy Goodwin, Commercial Director – Advanced Materials Division “we recognised that a reliable supply of good quality graphene raw material is an urgent need to enable our customers to develop graphene based formulations & technologies. That’s why we have chosen to make development quantities available at an early stage”. The Elicarb® Graphene products are currently manufactured in a pilot scale batch process at the company’s UK site; with plans to build an integrated graphene plant in 2014.
The Printed Electronics Europe 2014 event takes place on 1st and 2nd April and additional information about the new Elicarb® Graphene products will be available at a presentation in the Graphene Live conference and at exhibition stand number H09 at the same event.
