NanoSight Opens Office in Western Region of USA

NanoSight Limited, the nanoparticle characterization company, announced today that Duncan Griffiths has joined the company as Business Development Manager for the Western region of the USA. The company's nanoparticle characterization analysers, which are based uniquely on the visual tracking of nanoparticles, have shown superior performance to traditional analyzer systems, allowing a significantly better understanding of complex dispersions.

In response to increasing global demand for NanoSight's products and technologies, Duncan will be responsible for leading new business development activities, focusing on industry leaders in the nanotechnology and material sciences sectors.

"I am delighted to welcome a particle sizing professional with more than 15 years of industry experience to our team," stated Jeremy Warren, Chief Executive Officer of NanoSight. "Duncan adds substantial depth to our sales and marketing efforts, as we continue to move toward our goal of introducing this new measurement technology into both the academic and industrial markets. The establishment of a permanent presence in this area will allow us to better service the strong interest we have received from companies in this area, as well as support our existing customers."

Griffiths joins NanoSight from the global characterization group Horiba, where his experience included marketing, strategic analysis and product development.
