API Nanotronics Corp.,
a leading supplier of electronic components and nanotechnology research and
development to the defense and communications sectors, today announced a $4.7
million order from Rockwell Collins for custom communication components.
The order, received by API's National Hybrid division, is for a series of custom
MIL 1553 multi chip modules (MCMs), hybrids and custom packaged transistors
for defense communications applications. The order will be delivered over a
maximum of 32 months. API holds a significant patent portfolio covering the
hybrid and packaging technologies that will be incorporated into these devices.
