Agilent
Technologies Inc. (NYSE:A) today announced that Fudan University in Shanghai,
China , has selected Agilent's award-winning, high-performance, real-time Infiniium
90000A Series oscilloscopes for its National Microelectronics R+D Lab. This
purchase marks the beginning of a long-term strategic relationship between Fudan
University and Agilent Technologies.
Fudan University's National Microelectronics R&D Lab, which focuses primarily
on chipset design, production and test, was looking for a high-bandwidth oscilloscope
to complete its testing capabilities. The university chose the Agilent Infiniium
90000 Series oscilloscope because of the scope's superior signal integrity and
advanced measurement capabilities. Key in this decision was the oscilloscope's
noise floor - the lowest in the industry - which provides greater measurement
validity. Also important to university lab managers is the selection of compatible
probes and the variety of applications available, including EZJIT Plus software
to identify, analyze and time correlate jitter.
Fudan University was especially interested in a scope that would evolve and
continue to meet its needs as the lab expands. The Infiniium 90000A Series provides
an ideal solution because the availability of after-purchase memory and bandwidth
upgrade options, which allow lab managers to upgrade the oscilloscope as their

oscilloscopes. The lab chose Agilent as the sole supplier of its measurement

Agilent products throughout their lifespan at Fudan.
