Green Earth Nano Science Signs Licensing Agreement with UK Company

Green Earth Nano Science, Inc., (GENS) - Canadian environmental solutions developer and manufacturer of GENS NANO + SolarStucco - self-sanitizing and self-cleaning photocatalyst coatings and proprietary air + surface purification system, signed a licensing agreement with SEA SOLUTIONS LTD, a UK company.

Self-cleaning coatings are designed for exterior applications. For indoor applications, the company supplies self-sanitizing coatings marketed under the brand GENS NANO. The company has developed a complete range of environmental services and solutions distributed through a network of regional applicators, contractors, entrepreneurs and distributors. Hygienic coatings and other environmental solutions are used by the company to improve bio security, indoor environments, and to protect against Sick Building Syndrome, surface bio-contamination and even bio terror attacks.

Sea Solutions Ltd. is an innovative green technology consulting and solutions provider that brings added value to the estate market, restoration industry, sanitization and food industry markets in the UK.

The installation of advanced self-sanitizing coating technology protects the building interiors such as walls, ceilings and other treated non-contact surfaces for few years depending on surface type and treated areas. Once coated, the surface remains self-sanitizing provided that enough light is present to activate the photo catalytic effect of titanium dioxide ( TiO2 ). Various tests proved that treated surfaces, when illuminated by light, efficiently control and restrain bacteria growth reducing the risk of surface bio-contamination. This technology brings additional benefits to the environment by diminishing the need of facilities such as water and chemicals used to disinfect walls and ceilings and the impact on the environment. It improves indoor air quality and reduces building maintenance costs. There is never too much protection when it comes to food safety or elimination of any potential sources of bio-contamination. The installation of self-sanitizing natural mineral coating on walls and ceilings inside offices, food processing plants or clean rooms helps to reduce to a minimum any potential risk of bio-contamination through non contact surfaces.
