NanoInk, Inc.®, a global leader in nanotechnology, announced today that it is expanding its sales team by appointing Robert Marchmont as the general manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Dr. Marchmont will be responsible for the management of the entire sales cycle in the EMEA region for NanoInk's NanoFabrication Systems Division, which provides core desktop instrumentation and application expertise for current and future applications of Dip Pen Nanolithography® (DPN®). NanoInk announced in a separate press release that it hired Oliver Yeh as the general manager for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
"We are thrilled to add Robert to our global sales team," said Tom Warwick, NanoInk's general manager of sales and marketing for the NanoFabrication Systems Division. "Robert will personally manage our client relationships while also growing our customer base throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa."
Robert Marchmont comes to NanoInk with more than 25 years experience in privately owned and publicly traded life science companies with a proven track record in business development, technical selling and strategic marketing. He previously was the CEO at TotalLab Limited in the United Kingdom where he significantly improved company growth within his first six months.
Previously, Dr. Marchmont was the European business director for Protein Forest Inc. and created a European headquarters for the company. He was also the global marketing director for GE Healthcare's Life Science Division and was responsible for strategic marketing and product portfolio development for the Protein Detection and Analysis business segment. Dr. Marchmont received his bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Manchester Institute of Science & Technology and later received his doctorate in membrane biochemistry from the same university.
