In a ceremony attended by Innovnano's CEO, Andre de Albuquerque, the
Chairman of the Board from Coimbra iParque, Norberto Pires, and the mayor of
Coimbra, Carlos, Encarnacao, Innovnano unveiled plans for the construction of a
new nanomaterials synthesis facility.
The ceremony took place at the Municipal Council in Coimbra during the formal
purchasing of the 3.3ha plot located in Coimbra iParque where the production
facility will be built.
The new plant is a major step forward for Innovnano and represents a 10 million Euro investment. It will
consolidate the company's position as a global leader in nanomaterial production
and will use their own patented technology.
The location of the new plant in the modern technology park will also benefit
Innovnano as they co-operate with relevant scientific communities in the
neighbourhood.
