Only a few weeks ago, Hecus was awarded the Fast Forward Award 2010, the economy prize of the province of Styria, for the innovative technology in X-ray optics combined with microcalorimetry, in short the S3-MICROcaliX. And now the next award was granted to Hecus XRS: The "Rusnanoprize 2010". This prize has been established by the Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies and is awarded to companies and researchers for their nanotechnological innovations once a year.
This year the "Rusnanoprize" goes to Hecus X-Ray Systems for their implementation of innovative technologies in nanodiagnostics. „It is a special honor to receive this international top-class prize. Such an award first and foremost acknowledges our research and successful developments in the area of nanoanalytics", states Prof. Peter Laggner, managing director of HECUS X-Ray Systems GmbH, who is pleased to receive the „Rusnanoprize", which is awarded at the 3rd of November in the course of the Nanotechnology International Forum in Moscow.
The fact that Hecus always has been focusing on "innovation instead of imitation" now pays off. With the latest technologies, such as the S3-MICROcaliX, the company from Graz sees itself excellently positioned. This is also confirmed by the order situation (currently approx. 2.5 Million Euros) and the business development.
