Toppan Photomasks, Inc. announced today that it has received the 2010 Supplier of the Year Award from TowerJazz, the global specialty foundry leader.

Toppan was selected for the award from TowerJazz’s extensive supplier base because of outstanding ratings for service and support across all locations worldwide. TowerJazz utilizes a comprehensive Supplier Rating Program to measure quality, commercial performance, cycle time, technology, capability and customer support. Toppan is one of only two companies recognized in all categories at TowerJazz Supplier Day, and the only mask supplier.

“TowerJazz is pleased to award Toppan the Supplier of the Year Award. Toppan has effectively demonstrated a close partnership approach by engaging with us globally on service, support, and quality systems,” said Ephie Koltin, senior vice president of worldwide operations for TowerJazz. “Toppan has shown outstanding performance, providing consistent and reliable on-time delivery of photomasks to our fabs in the U.S. and Europe. This high level of service, operations support and across-the-board quality helps TowerJazz meet our customers’ rigorous schedules.”

“Toppan is committed to service and technology excellence, and improving the partnership between our global network of technology and manufacturing resources and our valued customers, such as TowerJazz,” said Dave Murray, president and CEO of Toppan Photomasks. “We have a truly international business model, with expertise and capabilities distributed across Asia, North America and Europe. This Supplier of the Year Award is especially gratifying because it recognizes our efforts to keep improving our customer service and quality all across our network, through teamwork and collaboration.”
