Cambridge NanoTech recently extended its corporate headquarters and moved to larger premises at One Kendall Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
According to the company chief operations officer Ray Ritter, the new premises will enable research and development, and sales and marketing. The demand for Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) is growing rapidly since it is being used in multiple industries such as energy, electronics, and biotechnology.
Vice president of technology, Ganesh Sundaram said that the technology could be used in consumer products so the extra space would enable the company to rapidly industrialize the technology so that it could be incorporated into multiple industrial segments.
The company is a developer of Atomic Layer Deposition science and a developer of ALD tools. The company scientists and engineers, who research, develop and construct ALD systems to be utilized in both production and research on a global scale.
