Thermo Fisher Scientific Releases Thermo Scientific Accucore HPLC Column Range

Published on June 21, 2011 at 4:37 AM

By Cameron Chai

Thermo Fisher Scientific has declared the launch of the Thermo Scientific Accucore HPLC column line of products.

Thermo Scientific Accucore high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) column range contains solid-core particles measuring about 2.6 µm in diameter with an average particle-size distribution of D90/10 of 1.12 that renders high resolution separation, increased speed and backpressures considerably lower than UHPLC.

The Accucore HPLC columns apply improved bonding technology that provides strong bonding action and reduced secondary interactions in rendering better solid shapes. The automated packing technique used in the manufacture of columns helps to provide firmly packed uniform columns, which are strong and reproducible.

These columns are available in a vast variety of stationary phase selectivities and compatibility with most of the devices and they provide high sensitivity and resolution with increased profitability.

The columns were designed based on core enhanced technology and with the company’s vast knowledge in phase bonding and packing technique; they offer an ideal chromatography solution for laboratory work processes and performance.

During the 36th international seminar conducted at Budapest, Hungary on high-performance liquid phase separations and related techniques (HPLC 2011) from 19th to 23rd of June, at booth M11-12, Thermo Fisher will display the Accucore HPLC column range.
