See How Easy it Is to Make Precise DLS Measure with the W130i from Avid Nano

A new video from Avid Nano demonstrates how easy making precise DLS measurements has become using their W130i dynamic light scattering system with patent pending 5µl BladeCell disposable cuvettes.

Available to view at http://www.avidnano.com/media/media.htm the video demonstrates the simple 4 step protocol (Load...Measure...Recover...Dispose) that has made low volume batch DLS measurements faster, easier and more convenient than ever before.

Engineered to meet the demands of today's research laboratories, the Avid Nano W130i dynamic light scattering system delivers outstanding performance from only 5µl of sample in seconds. The W130i combines ultimate measurement performance with an economical benchtop footprint, rugged durability and supreme user convenience.

The patent-pending 5µl BladeCell cuvette combines the ultimate convenience of a disposable sample holder with the measurement quality of a quartz cuvette. To fill 5µl of sample is simply pipetted against the walls of the BladeCell liquid trap where it is retained by surface tension. The prepared cuvette is placed into the temperature controlled sample holder of the Avid Nano W130i, where it can be analysed by DLS in just seconds. After analysis the sample is recovered by simply dipping a pipette tip into the liquid trap and removing the contents. As a low cost cuvette the BladeCell may now be disposed of eliminating the cleaning steps required when using more costly quartz cuvettes.
