AMFitzgerald Partners with Micralyne to Achieve High-Volume Production of MEMS Devices

Micralyne, a MEMS foundry that caters to high-performance telecommunications, biomedical and industrial markets, has partnered with A.M. Fitzgerald & Associates (AMFitzgerald), a company that develops MEMS products, to enable clients to commercialize their products.

Specialized MEMS design and fast prototyping services of AMFitzgerald is integrated with Micralyne’s experience in producing MEMS devices of high-value, to enable companies to shift early-phase designs to bulk production. CEO of Micralyne, Nancy Fares, stated that producing a MEMS device from conception to commercialization can be tough for clients since though they may have comprehensive knowledge about the specific application, yet they may not be conversant with MEMS design and fabrication.

The Founder and managing member of AMFitzgerald, Alissa M. Fitzgerald, stated that they deliver the modeling, design and fast prototyping expertise that navigate customers from the early stage to a foundry-set MEMS design. Fitzgerald added that they play an important role in releasing an established MEMS prototype that includes a robust process flow and a mask design to the foundry to achieve high-volume production. Micralyne has served the MEMS industry by developing tiny mechanical structures for leading companies. AMFitzgerald’s team of engineers delivers the necessary pre-foundry work to reduce the cost, risk and time involved in the development of MEMS.
