BNM Fabrika has been chosen by NanoInk as the exclusive distributor of the NLP 2000 system, the DPN 5000 system and NanoProfessor's nanoscience education programme for Turkey.
While the NLP 2000 system enables nanofabrication in the desktop of the laboratory, the DPN 5000 system has the ability to nanopattern a wide range of materials with high accuracy at nanoscale levels. The NLP 2000 system uses dip pen lithography (DPN) to help researchers in designing and creating surfaces that are engineered and customised in order to transfer tiny amounts of material over a large area. The interface of the system is user-friendly and enables in designing complicated patterns and simultaneously helps to control the movements of the tip while writing.
According to Veysel Ozkapici who is the General Manager of BNM Fabrika, the partnership with NanoInk will help researchers to carry out research programmes that are technical in nature without the use of expensive devices and will also help in training future researchers in the area of nanotechnology. The main focus of the NanoProfessor Nanoscience Education Programme is to make nanoeducation accessible to undergraduate students in universities that focus on research. The programme consists of a combination of classroom lectures and practical lab work and also follows a comprehensive textbook which covers topics on NanoBiology, NanoChemistry, NanoPhysics and Environmental health and safety.
