A key aerospace components manufacturer has placed a multi-million dollar order with CVD Equipment to design a customized chemical vapor deposition system scalable solution to manufacture next-generation composite products.
CVD Equipment’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Leonard Rosenbaum stated that the company is happy about the selection to devise a next-generation manufacturing system solution that is essential to fulfill the yield growth and capacity expansion requirements of this major aerospace components manufacturer. This new design agreement will allow the company to leverage on the successful installation of the systems designed by it under an earlier multi-million dollar order with the same company.
This achievement reflects CVD Equipment’s vision to step up the commercialization of next-generation technologies and to provide a cost-efficient and risk-managed transformation of several technologies from research and development and pilot production to commercial production. Recently, the company bought a new facility measuring 130,000 sq. ft., which is double the size of its current facilities.
This new facility enables CVD Equipment to expand its design engineering, application laboratory, and production capability and to achieve its expected growth in offering research and development, pilot production, customized chemical vapor deposition systems, and material solutions to a variety of markets. The new facility is expected to be occupied fully in the third quarter of this year.
CVD Equipment designs and manufactures standard and customized advanced equipment to produce advanced components, coatings and materials for research and development applications.
