From Waste Tires to Nano Carbons

Klean Industries, a provider of industrial, sustainable energy solutions, has established Klean Carbon through which the company will supply Nanocarbon that will be manufactured by Klean. Marketing of the Nanocarbon materials will be carried out on a global level through the new e-procurement web portal set up for Klean Carbon.

The raw material for the production of carbon nanotubes and fullerenes is obtained from tire pyrolysis establishments.

Klean’s patented Japanese technology for Nanocarbon production has been perfected after 35 years of partnered research in nanomaterials. By employing an advanced thermal treatment technique, Klean has set up facilities with capability to process more than 250 tonnes of raw materials high on carbon content into nano materials in a single day.

Jesse Klinkhamer, CEO of Klean, stated that the high quality nano materials that the company is supplying will help their customers to reduce production costs and environmental impact of nano commodities while achieving improved production efficiency. Some of the industrial applications of Klean Carbon products include flexible film packaging, touch screen devices, solar power films, advanced resins, nano plastics, advanced rubber compounds, performance and industrial coatings. The nano materials are deemed to offer enhanced tensile, mechanical, thermal and protective characteristics in comparison to conventional industrial materials. Potential customers can request for samples through the company’s procurement portal www.kleancarbon.com
