Strasbaugh is pleased to announce that on March 3, 2015, an agreement was signed with CWI Technical Sales, making them an official representative of Strasbaugh’s CMP and wafer grinding products in the United States.
Nathaniel Weil, CWI’s President, stated, “We are excited to expand our product portfolio to include Strasbaugh’s CMP and grinding equipment. Strasbaugh’s new and legacy systems are complementary to the technology we currently offer, which includes front end and back end wafer processing, metrology, and test equipment.”
Both Strasbaugh and CWI serve customers in the mobile device industry, which includes MEMS, LED, RF/power devices, thin film heads, and IC manufacturing. “Our collective experience and strong applications background is an asset to our customers and ensures that the solutions we provide are highly effective,” commented Jerry Cutini, Strasbaugh’s CEO. “The synergy between Strasbaugh and CWI will enable us to be more proactive and responsive to our customers.”
