A new video placed on YouTube shows one of the all electric SUVs being produced by Phoenix Motorcars of Ontario, California, USA. The mid-sized sports utility truck (SUT) featured in the video uses the NanoSafe battery pack from Altair Nanotechnologies to power a highway speed able vehicle that is economical, energy-efficient and has zero-emissions.

The NanoSafe battery is a non-toxic, all-battery solution to eliminate noise and toxic vehicle emissions that contribute to air pollution. A secondary benefit as demonstrated in the video is the potential to dramatically quieten our streets. As the vehicle drives away the silence is remarkable with little more noise than a soft crunch of tyres on rough asphalt.
