Presidential Green Chemistry Award Given To Nanocatalyst Technology For The Synthesis of Hydrogen Peroxide

HeadwatersTechnology Innovation, headed up by Dr. Bing Zhou, has been given the Presidential Green Chemistry Award (the highest environmental award EPA gives) for their groundbreaking research on the direct synthesis of hydrogen peroxide by selective nanocatalyst technology.

They have developed an advanced metal catalyst that makes hydrogen peroxide directly from hydrogen and oxygen with water as the only byproduct, which has fantastic implications for the nano-industry.  For the EPA to back this technology is an unprecendented step in the acceptance of Nano as mainstream.
