Company Background
Norsam Technologies is a research and development company that began in 1995 when Norsam's founders received the exclusive license to focused ion beam technologies developed at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). Since its inception Norsam has created many innovative applications for the focused ion beam technologies.
The Norsam/3Beams team consists of a committed group of employees and subcontractors, 250 shareholders and an active Board of Directors. John Bishop is Chairman of the board and along with Randy Loemker serve as Co-Presidents. Norsam's headquarters moved from Santa Fe, New Mexico to Hillsboro, Oregon in 1997.
